Committee Management

We are the secretariat to many OSH-related committees. This means that part of our jobs include scheduling meetings, selecting meeting venue, sending notice, preparing agendas, meeting minutes and action items, managing attendance, managing membership (including appointments and elections), managing related information and database and reporting. We also consult Faculty and Departments on the requirements to establish Safety & Health Committees, determining memberships and other terms of references. Every Safety & Health Committee is required to meet once every three months.

Training & Workshops

We organizes training and workshops relevant to the OSH learning needs of our people. We conducted face to face classroom sessions and also practical sessions. We conducted workshops to establish or improve our safe system of work with the help of our people. In addition to imparting relevant and useful knowledge and skills, we also hope our people enjoyed the camaraderie among colleagues.

Industry Visit

We organizes industry visit to expose our Health & Safety Representatives (HSR) to the workings of industry especially in the context of OSH management. We have visited dockyards, factories, laboratories, sanitary landfill and other universities. In addition to networking, we hoped this activity would expand the perspectives of our people.
